The architectural program included the rehabilitation of two dwellings to be converted into a single apartment for a young couple, with the prospect of creating a family.
Located in a historical district of the city of Lisbon, the fire privileges of good solar exposure to the South and a panoramic view to the city, where the Tejo is the backdrop.
This feature set since the beginning the strategy of placing the living spaces (living room and kitchen) to the south, in order to enjoy the cityscape and from the direct incidence of light. The private spaces (3 Bedrooms) were located to the North.
The division between the two moments takes place through a central nucleus that includes a distribution corridor and the Sanitary Facilities. These contrast, by the color and materiality, of the other spaces of the house and are characterized by the zenithal light falling from the high ceiling of pyramidal shape.
